Data controller

What data we collect

We only collect the data you voluntarily provide through the enquiry form: full name, email address, phone number if given, the stay dates and number of guests you indicate, and the content of your message.

We use no profiling cookies and collect no browsing data for advertising purposes.

Why we process it and on what legal basis

• To answer your enquiry and give you information about the stay: the legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
• To comply with legal obligations connected to short-term rental activity: the legal basis is legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c GDPR).

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for 24 months from the last contact, unless a booking follows: in that case the data is kept for the periods required by tax and public-security obligations.

Who it may be shared with

Data is processed by the controller and is never disclosed publicly. It may be processed on our behalf, as data processors, by our email provider and by the provider hosting this website. It is not transferred outside the European Economic Area.

Your rights

You may at any time request access to your data, its rectification, erasure, restriction or objection to processing, and portability, by writing to info@casadelcarrubo.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).

Bookings via Airbnb and Booking

If you choose to book through Airbnb or Booking.com, the data you enter on those platforms is processed under their own privacy notices. We receive from the platforms only the data needed to manage your stay.
